Jelly Bracelet

My first experience of reading a blog was about ten years ago when another craze was in. My daughter wanted Scoubidous which were long plastic brightly colored  strands weaved together to make bracelets.
I searched the internet to see how to make them and found a blog of an American woman, with step by step instructions. She was into  photography and her blog was very interesting . Her daughter worked in IT and so her her blog was very ahead of its time. She kept me coming back by having a fun competition every week, she would show a magnified photo and people would guess what it was?
I lost the link to her blog when my computer crashed.
My grandson wanted me to get a jelly bracelet maker, he saw them in school. I inquired and found a kit for €1.99 in Tuthills. It is not easy but I have got the basic idea and thought I would share the video

Bank Holiday Gardening.

Bank holiday Monday all the gardening radio adverts  have inspired me to plant a few seeds even though it is raining.
Planted some tomato seeds in a drinking chocolate tin.
seeds are available free from   https://www.facebook.com/ithastobeheinzireland?fref=ts
I added another bargain plant to my yellow planter, I got it in supervalu for one euro.

Wallflower seeds have germinated no sign of the sunflowers yet.
Pansy seeds are getting big.

Product Review Putty Peeps

I purchased Putty Peeps in the Art and hobby shop Liffey Valley.  I thought my grandson might like as he loves playdoh.
It is a strange product at first it feels like plastic and you wonder how to get it out of the tin. Then when I had scooped it out and it got warm in my hand it became malleable like playdoh would. It is stretchy and bouncy if you roll in a ball. Once left alone, gravity starts to work and it "melts". I love rolling it and playing with it
The tin is handy for storing it..
Down side is when you bounce it , it picks up dirt.
Still I would recommend as a fun toy.
